“Eau De Sardine” – LOL!

Here is the video of my garden. I have had the worst luck making this video. My camera got stupid and wouldn’t record, so I used a different camera and it didn’t have a big enough viewing area, so it cut too much off (like my scarecrow’s head). I ended up using my dash cam to make this video. And then it was windy so the sound quality is poor. My voice got garbled in places. I hope you enjoy visiting my garden anyway! Hey, tad, let’s see your garden!

National Gummi Worm Day

National Give Something Away Day. I might give away some of the green beans I just picked.

National I Love Horses Day. I do love horses.

National Pet Fire Safety Day

National Tapioca Pudding Day. I love tapioca pudding, but rarely eat it.

I had to drive up to Mt. Charleston at 4PM today.

The kids did something and triggered the anti-theft devise on their car and it wouldn’t start.

I’m a nervous driver in the best of times and driving thru Vegas in the rush hour on the freeway….but I did it! I guess what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.,

Now my SIL has to get a tow truck up there tomorrow. It was supposed to be a camping trip for their 30th anniversary. My daughter is so upset.

Chesny, how do you like that medicine of yours on the other end?

Good heavens! Chesney is demanding a bath! Is the world coming to an end?

I read today that a cat (I forget where) was diagnosed with bubonic plague, likely caused by a flea bite

What about Jack? He was there also9.

It’s the soap, not the water, that drowns fleas. Flea soap tends to slow them down enough to drown them before they escape. These fleas are idiots.

Toto the wonder chicken, is improving already. Her toe that was sticking straight up in the air is now sticking straight ahead…hopefully it will soon be curved down and normal. There is still quite a swollen knot at the base of her toe. Sarah got help to move her cage out under the maple tree where it was cooler than in the carport. It was 104 heat index today with a heat advisory, and expected to be 108-110 heat index tomorrow. I will not be working in the perennial garden.

Those fleas may be nasty, but you can’t say they aren’t funny! (Eau De Sardine? Clever!) On another note, saw five rabbits, two sparrows, a finch, and a butterfly while out walking today.
