National Rice Pudding Day. I tried rice pudding once but I didn’t care for it.

My last day of work before vacation starts. That’s the best thing on this list!

Oops! Don’t tell my cats that yesterday was International Cat Day because I forgot to give them their treats! I’m going to tell them that today (or tomorrow) is International Cat Day and they’ll get their treats then.

As for deer, they’re a major reason I hate driving at night out here in the boonieburbs. There are so many of them around, I’m surprised more of them don’t get hit.

I have two sets of deer whistles on the truck. Can’t say when they have helped but have so far not hit any. I have the extra set on, w/a a small gap between them, because I am just anal that way.

! I might have to learn how to register a complaint, if there is such a place to complain.

I had trouble last Fall. Sent $71 to some bs. outfit, never got delivery and when I went to their alleged “Contact us” page it was just a white blank. I had moved from pre paid store cards to a U Bank debit card, so I had protection like you usually get with regular credit cards. I was near the 60 day limit when I went to the bank with this.

Don’t let Ches know that Annie cheaped out with a low budget crown when she could have splurged for this.

The abandoned drug house across the street has a rundown porch that has become a message center for the neighborhood cats (and other animals). I have seen several stop and lift tail to leave a message. Then yesterday I watched a bobtail orange cat go nose to nose in a friendly encounter with a skunk that was living under the porch.

Be Careful What You Ask For Lesson #…gee, I seem to have lost count.

That conversation was going great until you went one boast too far, Chesney.

With great power comes…a lot of unexpected pain.

“Beckon and it is done.” Actually, all of my cats screamed their demands at me. As I rushed to obey, there were added comments that I took as “faster,” “now,” and “move it.”

At least ‘the boys’ are home….a bit bruised, seeing stars and looking awfully cute all patched up.

OUCH! I bet Jack and Chesney found that branch to be a royal pain! Well, that’s what you get for tempting fate. Still, it’s too bad that happened to them. On another note, saw five eagles while out walking today. I also saw a wren outside.
