I got a message from out Community Director today, there is to be zero Tolerance for Owner or Resident abuse, bullying, name calling, harassment or crude finger gestures over COVID-19 restrictions at the fitness Centers and pools.Apparently the rule you have to wear a mask is making the natives restless. Dagnabbit, you can’t make me, I’m old and I’ll do what I want. LOL
National Creamsicle Day. I don’t happen to ave any creamsicles in my freezer right now, but I do have some orange sherbet and some vanilla ice cream. If I put them in a dish and eat them together, that’s basically the same thing as a creamsicle. I need to do that.

The abandoned and condemned “dog house” across the street from me caught fire last night around 11 pm. Did squatters do it? Did the fleas? Did the dog poop spontaneously combust?
Squatters have set fires in over a dozen houses around town since January 1. This house probably will have to be bulldozed now. My neighborhood used to be a nice one. It’s now a war zone.
Alpha Cat continues his adventures… .Yesterday Pat had occasion to visit the next door neighbors. They grow medicinal marijuana so they have a moderately sophisticated camera system for security. .The man of the house and she were talking about Alpha (they still call him ‘DaddyGod’ and tell us they believe he’s something more that a cat – we didn’t tell them that we can’t help but believe this is his second time through with us after his first body died) and fired up the video playback system. . Alpha was captured on video… …Alpha was captured on video almost ticking off one of the biggest items on his bucket list. .After a recent moose acquisition the neighbors put the remains out at the bottom of their property for the wildlife. (Everyone gets something this way.) Alpha was sitting about ten feet away just meditating. .A mature bald eagle landed to start picking at the leavings. .Alpha turns very slowly..Alpha starts edging very, very slowly towards the eagle. .A couple of minutes pass with Alpha sloooooowly inching closer. .Alpha starts quivering all over with excitement – this is it – the biggest chicken anyone can imagine! .He gets to within three feet of the bird, makes a leap and the eagle is way ahead of him. It takes off and Alpha is left sitting there thinking very bad things to himself. (The eagle and the Canada Jays, they’re his two longings – the eagle because it’s there, the Jays because they sit in the trees and insult him. He’s already settled the crows’ hash.) .He almost got that item on the list. Of course, seeing as the bird is much bigger than him and could probably fly with him tearing at it, it’s probably just as well. Mind you, if he got the eagle by the neck it’d be a goner and wouldn’t be flying anywhere any more. Alpha knows how to get a foe by the neck and dispatch it quickly. .If only he had the body size and weight of that Siberian cat breed…
Alex Trebek may not have had to sit on a loading dock, but he did have to deal with an obnoxious Sean Connery on Saturday Night Live’s “Celebrity Jeopardy” skits. (Come to think of it, Connery’s attitude toward Trebek wasn’t that much different from Chesney’s attitude toward Annie.) On another note, saw a rabbit while out walking today. I also saw a dragonfly outside.

Alex Trebek may not have had to sit on a loading dock, but he did have to deal with an obnoxious Sean Connery on Saturday Night Live’s “Celebrity Jeopardy” skits.
