National Buy Nothing Day. That doesn’t exactly fit with Black Friday. And I have to ignore that because I need to buy something today. I was doing my Christmas lights yesterday and I need an outdoor extension cord to plug in the lights I’m doing in front of the house. I made a Christmas tree out of 2 tomato cages (one upside-down on the other one, zip tied together). I had a couple extension cords on the porch but one was worn with exposed wire and the other had a brown spot on it as if it began to burn last time I used it. I threw both cords in the trash. But now I need a new extension cord to plug in the lights.
