Good to see Route Nine working the desk.

I was so tired yesterday that I forgot to say something about out weird weather. We had a wind storm and it was our annual community Garage Sale. Kat and I decided to leave Scott manning our sale and check out all the other ones. We got to see a bookcase blow over and literally explode. Wood flying everywhere. At another house it was a big mirror, then a rack full of dishes! Winds in excess to 50mph! The temp Saturday was mid 80s, today it was 66! Mother Nature is playing tricks on us. It’s supposed to be 60s low 70s all week.

I don’t think Annie is sorry that Uncle Herbert is on strike!

Today is:

NATIONAL FOOD DAY. I plan on having some of that today! I want to make some applesauce and I’m going to have other food too. I just haven’t decided what else I’ll eat today, but you can be sure I will be eating food.

Herb is a cat. Why is Annie freaking out? Oh, he’s a relative of Chesney. That’s scary enough.

Sorry Annie- I laffed at Chesney calling you “the Stumbling Block” !!

Thanks to @marilynnbyerly posting yesterday, I checked the Bird-cast Migration Report just now. It is too dark by 9:00pm but I would’ve liked to see the Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker, Indigo Bunting and Magnolia Warbler. Wow, this is fun!

Long long story but I finally have a new phone – probably spent 8 hours with tech support as I was immediately locked out of it. Lost all voicemail and some messages.

Once again, Cheseny puts the blame on Annie. Okay, maybe it is sort of is her fault, but Chesney doesn’t have to rub it in. On another note, saw two wrens, three golden crowned kinglets, a Steller’s jay, and two rabbits while out walking today.
