Got my " neighbor" gifts done today. Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting and peppermint candy sprinkles. It was raining today, and no car, so I would have had to walk. Tomorrow will be fine. I’ve already received cookies ( which I can’t eat) from my next door neighbor. SIL took them home with him. The neighbor on the other side of the loop gave me Salad herbs from her hometown. I just used the last of last years. This is the first neighborhood I’ve lived in that does this. There are 6 of us in the exchange. I’m the only single person.

I just heard that there is a Piggly Wiggly store not too far from me (maybe 10 miles from here?) that is giving away the last of their Christmas trees FREE! If I had time (and if they had any trees left by the time I could get there), I would get a tree for Oliver. Then all I would need to do is arrange for delivery to the warehouse. Maybe Santa could deliver it to them.

Only 2 more shopping days until Christmas!!!

Oliver can’t see the forest for the trees.

Time for some midnight capers with Chez and Jack, lil Oliver needs an inside tree.

I’m disappointed in Oliver, really. Where’s his sense of wonder?

They don’t come any more real than that. Maybe Oliver would like it if some ornaments and lights were added to it. (No tinsel, though. Tinsel isn’t good for cats.) On another note, saw four varied thrushes, three juncos, and a sparrow while out walking today.
