Yesterday Queen of America mentioned her two, new charges.
Here is some more of the “back story” info from QoA:
“They came from a hoarder house. The ladies were willing to surrender the kittens because they said both were wild (they are NOT) and the black one is blind (she is not).
Both kittens like to be held and cuddled. The tiny black one follows me around. She’s mouthy, too. When she cries, the other one runs to see if she’s OK. She always is :: she just wants attention.
The grey one sleeps a lot and I figure it’s because she’s finally away from two dozen other cats and can get some sleep! Both are clean and healthy.
I weighed them this morning. Blackie is 12 oz, which is more than I thought it would be. Grayson is 1.10 lbs, which is pretty normal.

Most of the Thanks should be directed toward Susan. The authorities here won’t do anything about this kind of situation (the hoarding). Susan has been working with these two women for about 10 years and has about had it with them. The only thing is, if she gives up, that leaves the poor kitties and kittens at risk. Rock, meet hard place."
.
It is sad in a way, Barbara. Yes, the back storyis dark, but, now, there is light ahead for these two wee ones, thanks to you, Barbara, and to Susan.
