My cat Ivy’s night time thoughts run along these lines:

    .

    “Is it Breakfast time yet?”

    “Are you awake?”

“Are you Sure it’s not Breakfast time yet?”

“It Must be breakfast time now?”

This week my nighttime thoughts are." Maybe I can breathe on my right side, nope still stopped up." I hate this time of year. It was 68 today and we’re supposed to get rain/snow/whatever by Thursday. No wonder my sinuses are confused.Queen and Brad are almost back home. Long tiring trip….

I hate when nighttime thoughts keep me awake.

It looks like I won’t be going to work today. First of all, we’re expecting snow. The latest forecast calls for 3-5 inches of the white stuff. But I have another excuse too. When I got home from work about 3 hours ago (I work the closing shift & get home around 11:30-ish), it was only 55 degrees in my living room. It looks like my furnace has conked out. It hasn’t run once since I got home. So, I have to call a repair service and I hope they can get here today (I always feel funny saying “today” when it’s only 2:30 in the morning and I haven’t gone to bed yet. To me, it’s still Tuesday, not Wednesday. Wednesday starts when I get up). Anyway, I have to be here for the repair service to get here. I hope it’s not too cold in my bedroom for me to get to sleep. Right now, it’s 60 degrees in my bedroom, but it still might get colder as I have no heat in there. The furnace was running when I left for work in the afternoon. It just decided to die while I was at work. I hope it isn’t a big repair (I expect it’s the blower or something, but you just never know).

It really has not been my day. Not only was my furnace dead when I got home from work, but my internet was out, too. I got it back when I rebooted my modem, but it took a while to reboot. And now I’m worried. They say that bad things happen in threes. So something else bad is probably waiting to happen to to me. What will it be??? Stay tuned.

We know it’s not a spider that he’s seeing climb the wall, cuz we all know spiders have EIGHT legs. May be it’s a butterfly or gosh forbid……A ROACH !!!!!

Oliver afraid of something climbing the wall?? Doesn’t sound like him. Expecting a decent storm Thursday and Friday – was it really necessary to get a warning text in the middle of the night when today will be 57 and sunny? The one time I forget to silence my phone…

We are expecting a storm starting this afternoon and ending in the wee smalls tomorrow. I hope we don’t lose power.

Oh, Oliver is so adorable! And I’m relieved it’s not something with 8 legs on the wall. Thanks for the smile, GH!
