We have hardwood floors and I can see under our bed from the bathroom. I keep asking Moose and Blackjack to go under there and roll around but they won’t do it. Then I have get out the Swiffer.
Cats need to take dust baths to reduce the oil on their fur, especially if they do not get regular brushing. Dust bunny baths are a messy substitute. My cat Colette will make frequent dust bath stops on our walks because she knows I can be counted on to pet the dust off immediately. On hot days she lets the dust stay on for extra insulation from the sun. I know it is a hot day when I come up and find my black and grey tabby is a pale brown color.
