I live in farm country and feed several feral cats. This morning, I got the food out, reached back in to get the water jugs; the next thing i knew, one of the black cats just waltzed right in like he owned the place. I’m standing half in/half out the door with 2 gallons of water in my hands, telling him, “Get out, get out”; as if he was actually listening to me — He’s a cat. Short of throwing the water at his head — he was going to win the day! Fortunately, he heard my brother go into the kitchen, scared the cat badly enough for him to turn around & run past me out the door. He also wouldn’t have gotten any breakfast if he’d stayed inside. Cats, always an adventure.

Hold on Mitty! My Sara will be right over as reinforcement. She hate the evil squirrels too!

Tuck that tail in!
My cats think of squirrels, bunnies, birds, and lizards as cat toys.

That’s fake news. If he’s sitting or lying down, his tail is not sticking out, it’s curled along his side. Oh! No fact-checking?

Kitties often get themselves in trouble because of their tail. They think they’re hiding but the tail is showing.
