We took our 9 year old Tonkinese cat in for a cleaning. He had a bad reaction to the anesthetic and had a stroke. We rushed him to a veterinarian hospital where he had to stay for almost a week for observation. The wife had an anxiety attack and I had to take her to an Emergency room to get her some anxiety medicine to calm her down. So all in all that teeth cleaning cost me well over $6,000. And when we got the cat home, two days later he was running around like nothing ever happened.
Just an FYI, The cat is still with us and will be 15 years old next month.
He’s my little golden boy! ;-)
