That, umm, neckpiece, is it to keep her from drooling on her palette?

She’s just fiddlin’ around with that painting.

I’ve seen this painting in person as it is displayed at the National Gallery of Art. A fantastic museum and one I am so privileged to have nearby. Plus its free! Whee!
