    Aw, man, tell the boss we need to telecommute tomorrow, there’s no way we’re getting inside the perimeter! (How far ahead of time does Mr. Melcher pick his paintings? As a Georgian, this one seems eerily well-chosen given last night’s bridge fire in Atlanta.)

    That is actually not funny. The Picture shows the bombardment off Copenhagen in 1807, by the English admiral Nelson. A terrorbombardment of civilians – because Denmark wanted to remain neutral in the Napoleonic wars, and wouldnt freely surrender their navy to Nelson.And still the British consider Nelson a great hero..
