Brutus: June marks the start of television's summer rerun season, when most of the networks run repeats of the previous season's programs... Brutus: The networks use this opportunity to maximize their profits without having to pay to produce new shows! Brutus: And I always give them a pass - dutifully watching all those episodes I've already seen! Television: We begin with breaking news on the blizzard, which is bearing down on us. The city's stockpiles of road salt are very low, following last week's snowstorm... Television: Later in sports, our Super Bowl preview will profile both teams' quarterbacks! Brutus: Reruns of the evening news is carrying things way too far!
