Gladys: I found a receipt for a video game you bought with your birthday cash.
Gladys: That was very expensive! Why didn't you ask for my permission beforehand?
Wilberforce: Because I thought you might say "No!"
It is my right as a parent to control what my children bring into my house. End of story. This is not open to debate. Had my children bought something that I did not approve of I would simply remove the offending item. If it is an acceptable item I don’t care how much they spent on it. It is their money. And when it is gone, it is gone. A lesson more people, especially politicians, need to learn.
