Brutus: First, one party calls to solicit my vote, then the opposing party calls... Brutus: Then umpteen research groups call, wanting to know who I'm going to vote for! Brutus: So they want to know who I'm going to vote for? Well, I'll tell them... Brutus: I'm going to vote for whoever stops calling me!

I’ve turned the ringer on the house phone off on mine until after the elections. Anyone calling me personally knows enough to call my cell, email or IM me anyway.

Wait till you start getting calls from someone who won’t tell you who they are until you verify who you are….one comlaint filed with the FTC….

I just tell the survey takers that it’s none of their business who I vote for since it’s a personal matter anyway. I also tell the general survey takers on other topics that I don’t do surveys. The rest of the calls are recorded robocalls and I just hang up on them before the answering machine gets it. Saves having to wait for long winded recordings before I can delete them. For those who say I can delete in the middle of the message, not on my machine. It makes you wait until it’s done. Can’t afford the newfangled ones.
