Pork roast is great if you cook it in a crock pot, shred it, and mix throughly with your favorite BBQ sauce. Good old Southern pulled pork. Otherwise, bleagh.

Beggars can’t be choosers? Have you ever been on an off-ramp? Offer them money for their radio and see what happens.

One of my maternal great-grandmothers used to make some really good pork roast that would melt in your mouth. Fatty and greasy, to be sure, but being southerners, that was what we were used to.

Pork is just about my wife’s favorite meat; she can do so much with it. But I’m reminded of the woman who told Readers Digest that she realized she’d overdone the turkey surrogates when her daughter came home from school and asked, “What’s for dinner?” To mom’s reply “Chicken,” the daughter whined, “Chicken chicken or turkey chicken?”
