Brutus: Yoo-hoo, I'm home, Gladys! Gladys: You're very late for dinner! Brutus: I'm sorry. What did you make for dinner? Gladys: That's a moot point now!
I understand her being upset about his being late for dinner, especially if he didn’t call. What I don’t get is blaming him for her lack of cooking skills. She started dinner, she should be able to finish it without having to depend on someone else.
