Sounds like my local chain restaurant with a name that sounds like the Mexican telephone company. Whatever the price is in the TV commercial, add at least 25%, because that’s what they feel like charging.
When I was in college (back in the 1980s), there was a diner just off-campus which served a breakfast platter containing 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, and 2 slices of toast .. for $2.22
Sounds like some of the commercials you see these days. “If you order now, we’ll include a second one. Just pay an extra fee.” Oh boy, two for the price of two. What a deal.

The definition of “Buy One-Get One.” That other deal should be called “BOGOF.”

I know of a charity raffle that offers $5 tickets for “2 for only $10!”

Just buy one hot dog and cut it in half, then you’ll have your two even if it isn’t as much.

I saw a two-for-one sign for a boot store… buy one boot, get the other free.
