I am ready to try either one or both on my back. Last Monday I fell from a ladder and cracked T-5 & 6 in my back along with hitting my head on the concrete driveway. I am very thankful that I was able to get up and walk away requiring nothing more than a back brace and pain killers. The young lady across the street also broke her T-5 & 6 in an automobile wreck a little over 2 years ago and is now a quadriplegic.

The problem is, you’re lying on a bag of polka dots.

The heating pad don’t seem to be on his back , but a little bit down .

At least Brutus McFly here was smart enough to apparently use an ice bag that won’t leak. Otherwise he probably would have electrocuted himself by now!

But using both at once? Counterproductive! It is telling his muscles to do two contrary things at the same time.
