Another Red Pill day on the Born Loser

He should have added to the I am not acting: “& I am not stupid either”.

You put your foot in it that time…but it’s not the first time, nor the last.

Another example of engaging mouth before your brain is in gear!!

I learned 3+ decades ago not to fall in that trap. Better to own it, and talk about your feelings as soon as possible. Say, “Ok, you may think I’m pretending or acting stupid, or whatever, but I can’t help how your words make me feel.”

Appear vulnerable, if you have to act, act sincere, and let her maternal instinct take it from there. (Sexist, I know, but you got to do what you got to do. Married 32 years today, and a person picks up a few things.)

Brutus has many characteristics and his shortcomings (for example, choosing wives). However, calling him Stupid is DEFINITELY assuming facts not in evidence…..

This funny comic reminds me of that classic Laurel and Hardy scene from “Helpmates”:

Stan: “If I had any sense, I’d walk out on you!”

Ollie: “Well, it’s a good thing you haven’t any sense!”

Stan: “It certainly is!”

Followed by Stan trying to work out if he’s been insulted or not. (for several minutes…) ㋡

At least it dawned on him that he insulted himself, there’s some hope for him.

Once again Brutus learns (strike learns) is made aware that speaking before thinking is a losing proposition.

Experience observing her mother is also possibly not the best influence.

One thing about the cartoon I dislike; how Brutus is treated with so much disrespect. I understand because he’s the “Born Loser”; I still dislike it, though. Especially when Brutus is supporting the wench.
