Must be a very strange school.

I haven’t seen her in awhile, a long time!

So, she’s second in the ocean…..

Ahh and so it begins. The boy tries to chat up a girl by giving her a compliment, and of course the vain girl totally believes it because she is naturally a princess.

should he grab a heater so he can warm her up, it’s getting colder don’t Cha know. ;)

At least they agree, though I don’t think his blandishments will gain him any perceptible advantage with Hurricane.

To paraphrase the old adage, in the school of the blind, the one-eyed brat is queen.

It looks like our Wilbur will be getting his wish found in the old song, “I want a girl, just like the girl that married dear old dad.” She’s even taller, too.

Unfortunately, Wilberforce is experiencing true life.

I guess pride can start at a very young age usually coupled with a lack of manners….

I don’t know that Hattie should put a whole lot of stock in Wilberforce’s opinion. He’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I would predict that she will live a very lonely life, but she considers herself enough company.

Sadly Wilberforce Thornapple will end up marrying Hurricane Hattie and live the exact same life as that Brutus is living. The only difference will dealing with mother O’Hara instead of Mother Gargle.

Hurricane Hattie is so vain! I’ll bet she thinks this strip is about her.
