Small hard candies. Kids didn’t get candy except maybe at christmas.

Sugar plums should be dancing in your head.

I saw a recipe for them a couple days ago. They look delicious but you wouldn’t want to eat more than one or two of them.

A type of candy, Wilberforce. I must look up a recipe.

As a child, my mom served us canned pruned plums for dessert. Very sweet, and made you regular for sure! That was my point of reference for sugar plums, until Lou Reed sang his “Walk on the Wild Side” song.

Must be really good and hard to make or they wouldn’t have made a song about them. However, there are so many goodies at this time of the year that one really can dream about just the good food. I am and have always been a big eater all my life. I love this season and especially the great cookies that aew made. I had the BEST cookies of my life a few days ago at a Christmas Concert in Anacortes, WA. I think God sent them down from Heaven…..

Maybe they’re something like curds and whey? Porridge? Hot cross buns? In any event just go with the flow Wilberforce. Don’t want to get on the naughty list!

Now Wilberforce is going to lay awake all night trying to figure out what sugar plums are.

Thinking about that is going to make it difficult for Wilberforce to sleep.

“Now go right to sleep…” that is so easy to say to someone. Not something some of us can do on demand.
