Oh my. Poor Brutus, but of course he needs to stay on the right side of his employer. He might do better if he could keep a lower profile. But that could provide its own problems. Sometimes you wish for a turn-around for ol’ Brutus; but then that would mean no more comic strip. Life is so complicated!
When a person is verbally abused constantly, he loses all self respect. The old battle axe keeps downing him in addition to his lovely boss. I wonder why he feels no self esteem?
Needs to work on his debating skills it would seem, as he really is most definitely a man of moral principles. I would most definitely offer my services, if I could, as public speaking and debates are subjects I do teach………
