The Tale of the Giant Frog Creature from Outer Space (Ep #40) :
Brekk goes to his wife in the Well Well Hospital. The doctor says they tried their best but she’s almost gone. Brekk goes in and sits beside her. She sees him, and tries to say something, "Brekk… Brekk… I… I…. "
A long silence follows. The doctor comes in, checks her and nods a no. She had passed away.
“Your son died in the blast, general”, says the doctor, “the blast was powerful and we could not get his remains. I’m sorry.”
Brekk doesn’t say a word and just walks out. As he passes the rooms and the halls, he sees the injured and their families. A lot of frogs, rebels, civilians, and the imperial forces, had lost their dear ones and families. None of them had seen such a war in their entire lifetime as there were centuries of peace of Planet Bribbitt. Yes, there was corruption, favouritism, and oligarchy, but there never was such a devastating war in their history that they knew. (They don’t know the real history for the dynastic rulers had hidden the true history for centuries. See earlier episodes where Kermit the hermit frog explains this to Corporal Corey).
There were celebrations across the Froglands of Bribbitt, for they had beaten the dynastic tyrant and the giant mosquitos. But there was also gloom for several had lost their homes and families in the war. Also, the threat from the giant mosquitoes from outer space wasn’t vanquished, for they still existed and bred in the vast snake territory. Also, Dr. Frogenstein (or whatever’s left of him) was still being held captive by the evil toads.
General Brekk was sad and devastated for the loss of his family, but he knew his duty. He goes on to address the frog nation on live TV. On the way, he meets Corporal Corey who has just returned from Kermit the hermit’s place.
