The Tale of the Giant Frog Creature from Outer Space (Ep #43) :
After the long meeting and planning on arranging the attack on Toadlands and extraction of Dr. Frogenstein, all the Bribbitt troopers, as the rebel frogs now called themselves, met for dinner. There were some drinks served too.
Corporal Corey walks up to his friend and General Bribbitt, and says, "General, it’s been ten days since we won the great rebellion and I see that you’ve taken to smoking and drinking profusely. We need you for long, Brekk. Don’t so this to yourself. "
“Ah, Corey, my boy”, says Brekk, “I appreciate your concern, but I’m in full control. Don’t worry about me, my friend.”
“You’re a tough son of a frog, General”, interrupts Kermit the hermit frog, "But I know the loss of your wife and children weighs heavy on your soul. It’s not easy to face the reality that they’re gone. None of the frogs have lost anyone in such a catastrophic manner for centuries for peace prevailed. But that peace was a sham and hid the truth from all the frogs, keeping them in unsuspecting ignorant wells. Ignorance is not bliss, but everyone was fooled by the dynastic regime.
This peace has cost us dearly today, and we face an enemy more dangerous than those foolish dynasts who ruled us for centuries in the name of a so called democracy. On the contrary to what people think I am, I won’t stop you or give you a lecture on being strong and controlling your habits, but I’ll just say that try and cope with the reality, it’s not easy, but do not fall for these habits. For you may be thinking your personal world is gone, but the frogs need you and the rest of the great leaders at this crucial moment."
“You’re right, hermit”, says Brekk, " I’m unable to sleep after all this. The near death experience of the giant mosquito attack on Planet Diptera, and now the loss of my entire family. I can’t sleep unless I intoxicate myself so. But I’ll try to keep away from it and be what Bribbitt needs me to be!"
