Knight: Sire, we have reason to believe that our adversaries actually have no weapons whatsoever. Man 1: BOOM! BOOM! Man 2: BANG!! Man 3: Pow, pow, pow! The Fall of the Onomatopoeian Empire
Our chief weapon is surprise!… Surprise and fear… fear and surprise… Our two weapons are fear and surprise… and ruthless efficiency! Our three weapons are fear, and surprise, and ruthless efficiency… and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope… Our four… no… Amongst our weapons… Hmf… Amongst our weaponry… are such elements as fear, surpr… I’ll come in again.
In Army basic training, they ran out of blanks and we had to “assult” a hill yelling BANG BANG. Really funny when I think back on it. This happened 50 years ago.
When I was training in the Army, if I could get away with yelling “Bang, Bang” instead of firing blanks, I’d do it, cause then I wouldn’t have to clean my rifle.
Then the Hyperbolean army arrived, numbering 75 million men at arms. They reduced the castle to a crater 50 miles across and a mile deep. In battle with the siege force, they expended a million arrows, as well as their entire inventory of 6 million spears. They reigned over the land forever.
