Caption: Bach to the Future
Man wearing gloves: Johann, you have to come with me to 2016! We have to save the world from this awful electronic dance music!
Good thing he isn’t talking to Mozart. Ol’ Wolfgang was all in for the latest technology, and would have probably started writing his own electronic music.

Oh? Have you ever listened to “Switched On Bach”? Dance music? Not so much. Electronic? 100%.

Well, maybe they’ve Britten off more than they can chew.
but I think they can get a Handel on it in 2016…..
There’s still a pretty long Liszt.
And, say… it’s not like they need to be Haydn,
but if they don’t want to stick out,
they could do a little clothes Chopin….
Maybe see a Schuman and a Barber, too.

I don’t think I can bear to hear Huey Lewis sing Bach In Time one more time.

I’ve often said the world would’ve been better off if the advance of technology had been suspended after the invention of the pipe organ.

Bach was no slouch in the innovations department.
I’ve often thought Hendrix and Bach would have been musical pals in time warp land.

Or at least get some residuals from Wendy Carlos.
