Web is really hard to read sometimes, but you can’t always judge a book by it’s cover.
I don’t think they’ve the pronunciation function quite solved.

Just the other day, I was thinking about “Webster’s” Dictionary…
The work of Noah Webster… but the rights were passed to GC Merriam, later called Merriam Webster.
They fought for years, unsuccessfully, to stop the flood of other “Webster’s”.
It’s been generic for dictionaries now for over 100 years…. anybody can use it.
So how come I’ve never seen ONE take advantage of the pun, in calling an online dictionary “Webster’s”
(You’re right…. I’m ever so much fun at a party.)
Must be the Newspeak Webster dictionary, after all those politically incorrect words have been removed.
As I come online every day, I, too, am a “webster”. Definitely.

It’s a defining moment for Webster, but at least he won’t be at a loss for words.
