I never experienced restless leg syndrome until I was in my 50’s. During months of prescribed inactivity while I was recovering from a very small stroke, I began to be afflicted by it when I was lying down. I couldn’t get to sleep because of it. Ultimately, ice packs were needed to calm the muscles down so I could go to bed. I wouldn’t call it painful so much as really frustrating and annoying. It has recurred from time to time ever since, but it has never again gotten to the point of ice packs.

A thorough checkup also revealed his weight loss and having runs at night were due to wrestler’s bowel syndrome.

The big problem with wrestler’s leg syndrome is finding pants that fit. I have it too (and it probably doesn’t help that I’m very short).

A few pins should cure it.

Another made up ailment like “swimmer’s ear”, “tennis elbow”, and “fluffer’s TMJ”.

Thanks for kicking off this conversation Hillburn. Could you do a panel on irritable bowel syndrome next week?
