The Hanna-Barbera) animation and production company, that flourished from 1957 to 2001 (Wikipedia), introduced a large number of cartoon characters and theme shows. It was once called “a cartoon factory.” Many children spent Saturday mornings watching cartoons from 6 AM to Noon, absorbing slapstick humor, toy and candy advertising — and sugary cereal. I was one one of them.
