One of my favorites of you as a “goofy kid” is your old one about seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan

Saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan and wondered what all of the hype was about. Ditto, the ‘oh, my horror’ revolving around the Elivs’ appearance. Such a disappointment. I did not see what was so shocking to may. Just hype that worked.

I like how you are lying on the floor reading the funnies. That’s what I used to do, too. And with a big glass of pink pineapple juice. (I belong to your “goofy-kid” club". LOL)

Me too – lying on the floor, reading the funnies…and then having that ink all over your arms…

I’ve still got my Matchbox cars, a smattering of Hot Wheels, and some I just don’t know WHO made them.

In the days before comics on the internet, I bought 3 different newspapers to get my comic fix

The Big Picture was in the Denver Post if I remember right

Apparently you saw the match book covers which advertised the comic drawing classes as the doorway to untold wealth and fame!My folks lived in Framingham

Goofy, maybe. Astute, most definitely.

So the love of Matchbox cars got you where you are today? I like your comic so much because it is different and still funny. It always amazes me how many jokes can be made about Humpty Dumpty ~ and all the nursery rhymes. Even the political comics are all about the same things….but not always funny.

I loved Tumbleweeds. 30 years of bliss that would never survive the new “Woke” world.

I liked Tumbleweeds and Matchbox cars. Also I’m going to miss The Big Picture. My favorite one is the backhoe in the litter box. I have a cat that takes forever to cover up.

I wish they would put the cartoons on here like that. Just put them on so that all we have to do is scroll down the page and not have to click on everything.
