No way that mom is asleep with the baby crying! I normally feel most bad for the poor parents with the crying baby, more than for the suffering passengers in front and back. It’s really hard, trying to get a baby with pressure pain in the ears, to be still and quiet and thinking about all the other irritated passengers that one’s baby is disturbing!

I feel for you. I never flew on planes when my kids were little. I wouldn’t do that to people.
