Mom and dad have all these stories about running around their neighborhoods when they were kids- spending the whole summer riding bikes and playing huge games of tag with tons of friends. Why don't we do that? They lived in a time when cartoons were only on TV half a day per week, and video games were actually dull. Truly, they were a pioneer breed. Luckily, we live in an age when parents appear to let their kids play in the front yard.
Back when I was your age, I had to trudge 3 miles (we didn’t have kilometers back then ) through 4 feet of ice cream (uphill both ways) to get to the dirty snow (including yellow) truck. And you can bet mean old Mr Kidsnatcher didn’t wait if you was one second late. If you wanted your dirty snow you were waiting with your nicle and you called him Sir.
