Raw (non veg) food is weird, I outgrew raw meat and fish over 4000 years ago.

Try a Japanese pizza – now, that’s weird!

Try eating raw fish, filleted (?) on the fish, which is still moving while you pick off the pieces. Lots of saki helps. But the fish is delicious…it’s just the idea of a moving fish.

One of the greatest pleasures in life for me is to try new food, even the food that seems weird. If it’s highly appreciated by a large number of people, chances are it’s actually very tasty.

And let’s not forget that “weird” is definitively a relative term. Much of what we consider “delicacies” are viewed by others as gross. I think we already discussed lobsters (aka, huge water cockroaches) here, right?

Depends on what kind of Asian food. Tofu, for example, isn’t food at all, but partially congealed white glue.

Try Klingon Gagh. It’s little worms (like centipedes) that are still alive when you swallow them.

To each his own, WHMill. I thought it was delicious, but I couldn’t continue eating it. I prefer my food well dead before it gets on my plate.

Pasta invented in Asia – yes.

    Pizza in Chicago – no.

Maybe American style pizza, but pizza was around long before Chicago was.
