I found a five dollar bill in the wash. But I can't tell if it came out of Larry's pants or one of the kids. Or it could have come out of mine. How sad is it that I can get morally conflicted over a soggy 5 dollars?

Except for the one time there were three twenties floating on top of the water when I opened the washing machine, and knowing one kid had just done a big babysitting job I happened to casually mention that whoever had started a load might want to check…barely got the first words out of my mouth when you never saw a kid run so fast.
