    I guess the boys aren’t used to lots of fresh air and exercise. :o) They did a lot in one day.

    Reminds me of when my sons were younger. We visited my sister in NJ, and would take day trips into NYC, (field trips for our homeschool). In Manhattan, we would walk for blocks from subway stations, etc. One night, when my sons were doing their prayers before bed, I heard “And please keep Aunt Lynda from making us walk so much!” I felt the same way, but at least my legs were longer.

    My sons would go outside and play, or run the stairs in our house, but just weren’t used to walking constantly.

    This is a result of the modern practice of parents pushing their kids around in strollers long after they are capable of walking on their own.

    When we panned for gold on our Alaska Vacation it was a lot of fun but very hard work.

    We ended with some gold flakes and dust but we still think about and talk about how beautiful it was where we were panning for it.
