We have so many small kitchen appliances, we store about half of them in the laundry room. I need to drag a slow cooker down tomorrow to make Chili Verde, there was a BOGO sale on pork this week.

Those things do get used in our house, when I do the dishes I make sure everything is clean and put away and I’ve seen them all

I dont use any of that stuff, my wife does

When I make food it is just opening boxes and working the microwave

My sister is in a nursing home right now with dementia. I’m trying to clear out the house have lived in for 23 years, which was our parents. We had a house ourselves for 22 years till my father passed away in 1996. Even though we had moved in our parents house, we still had the other house stuff in it for twenty years. Finally we running out money (our mother passed away in 2016) . I had to sell the other house in 2018. I was bringing items in a cart or a red wagon. I never drove. My sister did but there was no car and gave up her licence. Now I have tried to get rid of stuff over the past two years. She did not want me to get rid her things saying paid for that. But she hasn’t worked since 1977. It was my money that she used. I didn’t mind. We bought alot records and books. Right now there about 5,000 LPs, 2,000 78s and 25,000 to 30,000 books. They’ve taken about 22,000 dollars for the nursing home. I only money left to live in here for a year. So I have to sell. Now I’ve been diagnosed as mild cognitive impairment. It runs in the family.
