If the whole Earth had one season, how would it ever change? Consider Venus which has just one, and doesn’t change. Then there’s Mercury with two seasons, Sun side and night side, with a little band of change over.
The kids are a tad mixed up. It’s not the other side of the world that has the opposite season, it’s the northern and southern hemispheres who have reversed seasons due to the Earth’s axil tilt. They both have Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, just Northern Summer is Southern Winter. Must be strange to be in Australia and be celebrating Christmas in the summertime. I wonder if their school systems take a break in Dec., Jan., and Feb.? After all, that’s their summer.

Welcome back, everyone! I have no idea what was going on, but I’m happy to see the cartoons again, and ‘see’ your voices here.

What “summer” event took place in spring for all of the participants and in autumn for most of the spectators?
