Maybe the preacher would rename the days after Biblical people, you know, Peter, Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, and Ringo.
I seem to remember a Futurama where Fry did something heroic and the mayor declared that Saturday would hereby be known as “Fryday”.
KNowing that his preacher is proactive would help make him feel safe. Not a bad thing.

Well this arc has be educational, but hopefully we’ve got all this name of the day stuff out of the way.
Just wait ’til they try to figure out the names of the months.
Wait ‘til they find out about the rest of the planets, now that they’ve encountered Saturn.
