—in most comic strips time stands still and the characters are forever the same age. Blondie & Dagwood, Dennis, Archie and Jughead ,Hi & Lois and all their kids, etc etc……..
too bad for Dusty and Boone— they’re stuck at the end of their lives in a retirement home, their best years behind them
♫ ♫ “I’m binging in the rain, just binging in the rain!” ♫ ♫
My favorite dictionary offers a choice of “binging” or “bingeing”, but they do not have “singing” as an option for “singe”. The world would be a better place if they had just left out “binging”.
If my time machine had one last trip left in it, it would be a hard choice between making English spelling rational or killing Hitler.
(Have you noticed English spelling makes me crazy? Don’t get me started on “gh”!)

But if Dusty played the spoons, (http://tinyurl.com/4t9vged) your kind of “binging on the silverware” might be appropriate, pshear!
(I take it “gh” doesn’t make you laugh?)
