The Professor: And tell me...what is that big animal? Boy: Uh...that's an elephant. The Professor: And this? That's a duck, professor. The Professor: And what is this little... Boy: Fostergrandpa...let's play catch instead... The Professor: Why? We just got started, little guy. Boy: I think you really need to figure out what these animals are by yourself.
Takes my back…Spent a week reading “what does the (animal) say?” to an eight-month old grandson. Over and over and over. He didn’t talk yet. At the end of the week when I asked him what the doggie says, he whispered “woof”. His first word!
