Evelyn: Excuse me, boys! Did you know today is "Lost Penny Day?" Dusty: Lost Penny Day? Seems like every day is a "day" at Elderpark!! What's this one goin' to cost me? Evelyn: Well, Dusty... today everybody in America is asked to donate all the pennies they've collected in jars... Dusty: Donate? To who? Evelyn: Oh... I'd recommend the local Human Society or animal rescue group. Dusty: Animals? Well, that's sold me. I'll pitch in! Boone: I always wondered where he kept his poker winnings.
I put all my “found” money in a piggy bank in the kitchen. At the end of the year, it goes to the SPCA (along with a check from me). I have ended up with over $20 some years.
