There was an old tale about two native Americans, Running Bear and Falling Rock, who were vying for the hand of their chief’s fair daughter. They were sent out to bring back as much food and resources as they could, and the one who brought back the most, would win. Running Bear returned after several days, with quite a few animals that he had harvested, but Falling Rock never returned. So that’s why, to this day, we see the mountain road signs, “Watch For Falling Rock.”
