(1) I didn’t make the cut for WWTBAM this time. Might re-audition in a couple weeks, though. Will see.
(2) Got my ISBN for TNAOQV Book 4, “Suffragettes Gone Wild!” today. Will start taking pre-orders next month for delivery either in October or November, depending on when or if I ever get the introduction from the person I’ve asked to write it. The rest of the book is ready to go to print.
(3) Cover price for book 4 will be $8.99. Direct-From-Me price will be $6.99. Pre-order price will be $5.99, same as the three current books.
(4) Price will be higher because the new book will come in a new, larger, easier to read size: 6.625” x 10.5” (“standard” comic book size) and will include at least 60 pages of strips (maybe more if the introduction ends up being shorter than planned).
(5) The mystery person I’ve asked to provide the introduction is someone who had a cameo in the strip some time in the past 12 months. I don’t want to say the name and jinx it actually happening.
(6) Stocks are low now for Books 1 & 2, and when I have to go back to the printer I intend to re-publish them in the new, nicer, larger format that’s easier to read. When it looks like I’m ready to do that I’ll do a blow out bargain basement sale on them in the store.
