I have sometimes debated with others whether the welfare state deserves to be called socialist since even Sweden doesn’t nationalize more than a few industries. (My eventual decision is that the welfare state IS socialist because what has been nationalized is the taxpayer.)
But by what definition of socialism to you consider a household socialist? A hippy commune or a monastic order, just maybe, but a household?!
