This is the first chance the meteorologists in the Northeast have this year to make a big deal about something – don’t ruin their fun.

I listen to a station that has reasonably accurate meteorologists. Many of the others are the type in the strip.

Problem with THIS storm in particular is a few degrees off track either way and we in CT get an inch or a foot. South Jersey is pretty well screwed regardless.

It’s our rainy season, but after watching what you folks are getting up in the States, I am not going to complain about the incessant drumming of the torrents on my metal roof , all night long. ! ( Of course I am ! )

to paraphrase….you think snow and ice is your ally, you merely adopted the snow and ice, i was born in it, molded by it, i didn’t see the sun and heat until i was already a man, by then, it was nothing to me, but blinding. the snow and ice betray you…because they belong to me.

Weather forecasters prepare severe weather projections in a room with a tank of nitrous oxide to help them find that little extra that they need for reporting the big storm.
