Check game meat very carefully. Eldest Daughter gave Hubby some venison steaks, which he put directly into the freezer. When he thawed them for his dinner (I don’t eat meat at all) they were crawling with worms.
Reload? I thought trophy hunters used autoloaders – if not machine guns. They are rarely sportsmen. I take 30 seconds to reload (when I am in practice and my effective tremor isn’t acting up), but it is only 3¢ a shot, including wear and tear on the flint.

My daughter just shot her first bear – right through the heart. And, yes, they eat the meat.

A grizzly ending! Trophy hunting is so wrong; hunt to eat, I say.
