I find that cursing my computer helps…… (me). :D

Coincidentally, this reminded me of a computer that I’d left unplugged for a few hours. Plugging it back in and starting it up didn’t help.

I’d try barking, but people look at me oddly when I do that. Or when I hiss, for that matter.

Bark at it, or bark at IT?

And if that doesn’t work, get a bigger hammer.

Try raising your leg over it. It won’t fix it, but it’s very satisfying. :)

UNPLUG IT!!!! Worse advice ever. Never take tech support from a dog.

I do the unplug and plug back in ….. usually works ….. but now I’ll add the barking, if it doesn’t work the first time around …… :)

I think growling at it, works better!

Which is better Tech advice than most will provide.

On the Planet of the Dogs, barking at it might help — or at least relieve some of the customer’s frustration. Here on planet Earth, barking is not a technique I’d recommend. But unplugging or rebooting are tied for the #1 spot on my tech support hit parade.

If it does work, bark at it anyway
