Well, ok, this is not exactly a case you would need Adrian Monk for solving it.

Of course doggie doo it. Doggie doobie doo!

Busted. Love doggy’s eyes!

Episode 1 of “The flat squirrel mysteries”.

Finally caught one, did ja?

I had to do a double take, as it looked like the dog had 3 eyes at first glance

Professor Plum, with the lead pipe.

Doggie knows karate.

I wouldn’t be so quick to exclude the butler. He could have a mean streak in him

Detective needs to dig deeper. Where’s the kitty hiding?

The dog looks guilty.

That’s only a murder mystery party. No animals were harmed in the making of this cartoon.

Why? Was the squirrel a butler? Was the fancy-dressed guy with a tray a known squirrel-lover? Did the detective know because he did it himself?

This is why I don’t read mysteries. Also, I cannot abide the smell of “red herring”. :)

Okay. But who gave the order "Go get the squirrel Rex? He was only doing his job. :)

At least try to look innocent.

You can’t hide those lying eyes.

I don’t see how you can assume the butler didn’t do it
